SOFTMAKER HAS ANNOUNCED a free version of its alternative to Microsoft Office for Android tablets.
SoftMaker Office HD Basic is the latest offering from the Nuremberg-based company which dates back to the late eighties and recently introduced a premium tablet product tailored for larger touchscreens to go alongside the existing Android phone version.
The basic edition offers the obvious three pieces of software: a word processor called TextMaker HD Basic, a spreadsheet called PlanMaker HD Basic, and a presentation package called Presentations HD Basic.
