According to a comprehensive global survey conducted by Mendix, which involved 2,000 IT decision-makers and C-level executives, low-code platforms are being increasingly embraced for their potent capability to trim down costs and expedite processes. This enthusiasm is underpinned by striking statistics: 49 percent of those surveyed cited cost reduction as the primary reason for choosing low-code solutions, while a significant 80 percent noted enhanced productivity within their IT teams.

Furthermore, the survey revealed that 98 percent of companies have integrated low-code tools into their operations, with 69 percent leveraging multiple platforms simultaneously. This widespread adoption indicates the technology’s adaptability and reliability across various business environments. The appeal of low-code extends well beyond cost savings. A remarkable 85 percent of respondents believe that the integration of low-code with artificial intelligence (AI) accelerates innovation, a crucial driver for staying competitive in today’s fast-paced digital landscape. Digital transformation remains a critical objective, with 53 percent of surveyed leaders identifying it as their primary use case for implementing low-code solutions.
