In another nod to the winners of the mobile market share battle — Google’s Android and Apple’s iOS — Microsoft is improving its signature Visual Studio IDE with more functionality for their phones and tablets.
These improvements and a host of others for capabilities such as installation andUniversal Windows Platform (UWP) are featured this week in Visual Studio “15” Preview, an early version of the platform’s next release. The company also is offering Visual Studio 2015 Update 2, an upgrade to the currently available product.
