iOS 8.4 developer release outs Apple’s revamped Music app

Apple has released the first developer preview of iOS 8.4, which brings with it a shiny new Music app. 9to5Mac has got the skinny on the beta, which arrives just a week after iOS 8.3 was made available on iPhones and iPads, and reveals what users can expect from the revamped Music app.

There’s no sign yet of Apple’s rumoured Beats music streaming service, which is likely to debut at the firm’s Worldwide Developer Conference in June, and it appears that the changes so far are largely cosmetic. The Music app has an all-new design, which will enable users to personalise playlists by adding custom images and descriptions.
